After consulting with friends and mechanics, seems the best solution here is to replace the engine with a new one. Update (If anyone cares)...Looks like hottoddie was the voice of reason. Engine was hydrolocked, but the new mechanic said there was no evidence that the first mechanic did anything wrong. Piston # 2 had failed (cracked or a hole in in). I'm at the point where he will dig deeper to see if the...

Espos4, Thanks for the reply. I believe the manifold and riser was not sealed properly after it was re-installed and water got into the engine. I'm gonna pull the boat tomorrow and get it to the mechanic out of the water.
