It was about 5-5:15pm, I was heading west into a west wind running about 3500-3800 rpm which gave a speed of about 22-24 mph. No one was hurt, I made it back under my own power running about 5 mph...the tow guys offered their survices to me at $250 for the 1st hr and $200 for every hr thereafter.
Well, I took the boat to Russo Marine and Paul hauled the boat right away. The port side prop shaft was bent, the strut was bent, 80% of 2 blades on the prop was gone, the 3rd blade was bent badly, about 1 1/2 foot of keel was shaved off, both exhaust ports sheared off (that seems very strange...
Thanks for the info! I should have waited a little longer for a few more responses...I called the insurance company a short while ago. I was a little uneasy waiting knowing the pump is running every 5 min. I called Russo to let them know I am bringing it in. Thanks again!
I hit some rocks in Boston Harbor coming from Boston Light heading towards the south west side of Lovells. I have a vibration at any rpm above 1600 and the bilge pump kicks on every 4-5 minutes and pumps water for about 5-10 seconds.
Who gets the first call, the insurance company or the...
Same basic idea, however, the OEM latch on my 07 320 is different, it has a square housing that mounts inside the drawer. How would you mount this one to the inside of the drawer? Are those screw threads?
Thanks for the link. However, they only list 1 lock. The one I need is for the top drawer to the right of the refrig., it has a longer shaft than the drawer below it. Am I mistaken or is there a difference?
I found the problem; the hub that pulls the chain was lose. I used the emergency handle from the locker to tighten the bolt in the hub, now it works just fine. Thanks for your help!
I believe it is the chain that came from Sea Ray. I saw the boat when Sea Ray delivered it to the dealer new in the shrink rap and the anchor and chain was in place.
I dropped the hook today for the first time ever. My winlass let out the chain and line just fine, however, when it was time to reel it in, the winlass reeled in the line but when the chain reached the winlass it wouldn't reel it in (the capstan would just spin). I had to help it by pulling the...
I'm a little confused! The starboard engine water pressure reads 7 psi & port engine reads 40 psi on the Smart craft screen.
On the dash gauges both engines read 40 psi. I'm thinking the smart craft reading is wrong for some reason. Any ideas?
Well, with the crappy weather (better lately though), work schedule and duty with the Air Guard, ther just wasn't much time left. BUTTTTTT I'm going out today (playing hookey from work)!!!!
