My most expensive drop was my IPod and wallet. I did retrieve the wallet though. Last year I was washing the boat and my Shurhold brush went overboard and disappeared under the lily pads. 2 months later, my buddy was able to fish it out. Salvaged the pole at least.
Sold my 2001 290 Amberjack with inboards and now own a 2270 Kodiak Pursuit.
I will continue to view the forum as I have before. I enjoy reading post and helping anyway i can.
"Yes, props are 14" diameter X 22" pitch. Yes, inboards. Should be same weight and beam."
That seems way off for pitch and diameter. I think 16x17 cupped are standard props for 2001 350 mag inboards.
Thank you. That's good to hear. I have heard that 1 beep is normal and 2 is a error and that would cause a error code to be stored and engine to run less than 100%
2001 290 Amberjack with 350 Horizons. When pushing the start buttons to the run position prior to pushing and engaging the starter, I get 2 warning beeps.
Is this normal?
On the back of the tach, there is a adjustment for 4,6 and 8 cylinder engines. Rotate this back and forth a couple times to the other settings and return to the 8 cylinder settings. This should fix it. Worked for me twice in the last 5 years.
Sorry what I meant that I placed the home unit behind the helm seat vented the hot air out where the camper canvas was zipped together after the sun went down, the unit cooled the whole boat cockpit area and cuddy.
