I'm not overly impressed with the digital sounding boat horn on my boat. Has anyone replaced the horn with a better sounding horn that still fits in the current spot (i.e. Starboard bow)? Thanks.

I've removed the bolsters in my V-berth and gained a lot of sleeping room. Now I'm looking for refinishing ideas to cover the exposed fiberglass shelf. Anyone have ideas and pictures to share?

That's sweet! I know Lasdrop did that with their seals, which I thought was a really slick design. Your boat is a 2006 so my guess would be that the spare seal has not been used yet, they last a pretty long time. Access is terrible, I would have to hire someone to do it, no way I'm flexible...

Wow, tough one, so both shafts have suddenly started leaking? I guess the first thing is figure out what you have for a shaft seal. If it's a dripless, what type? are the bellows intact? have the set screws backed off? is it time for new O-rings? Did something get in the bilge that damaged...

Harmon, Was there a lot of anti-freeze in your bilge that could have come out of a poor seal? Have you been experiencing a lot of water in the bilge when the boat was still in the water? It's hard to imagine anti-freeze running freely from the shaft without any previous issues. Is there...

Nevermind, no more nuts to loosen, I just had to get more aggressive on pulling up the seat. It is now out. Thanks for your help.

Shenanigans, I accessed nuts for the forward cockpit seat through the 3 access ports accessible once I raised the engine hatch, but this wasn't enough to release them. I ran out of time but I'm thinking I may have to remove the cup holders forward of this seat (just behind Helm Seat) for access...
