I just bought a 2000 260 bow rider with a 7.4, and when I took it to get de-winterized, the plugs were blown out.
Thank god the block is okay, but the guy said the r&r circulating & sea pump needs to be replaced. The heck is that? I googled it and found something about the a/c. This thing...
I bought a 2000 260 bow rider, and the freeze plugs are blown out on it. The mechanic said he may have to pull the engine to put one of the plugs in. Is that normal?
Does anyone leave their boat in the water during the summer months? (Fresh water. Not saltwater)
Is there anything to look out for? Is it hard to clean at the end of the season?
The marina I’m looking that mentioned just leaving the boat in the water all summer.
I get on Cobalts at boat shows and I don't see the huge difference from a Sea Ray. I know someone will scold me for it and tell me I'm blind, but that's just how I see it.

The guy told me it ticks all the necessary boxes (multi-port injection, dual prop). He pointed out how the build quality on a sea ray is much better than a regal or a rinker. Cant wait to de-winterize in a few weeks.
