i have a 1997 Sundancer with twin 7.4 carbureted engines. One will run for 30 seconds then quit. wont restart. After sitting for several hours it will restart and run for 30 seconds. replaced fuel filter, cap and rotor.

The guage on my console shows a wide fluctuation between 12v and 16v. I have replaced the alternator and the problem still persists. The engine stalls when the guage shows 12v. When I restart the engine the guage goes right to 16v until I increase the rpms. The closer I get to 3000 rpms the...
