2007 sea ray 17.5

I have a 2007 Sea Ray 17.5 with a 3.0L engine. The manual says remove the two hoses on the right side and put them below the exit point on the motor and drain the water. I did this but dont feel comfortable in the amount of water that came out but it did stop. I put a pressure hose to each drain...
