I just bought a 1962 Sea Ray 19' cruise, I can't find any info on it.I's very similar to the 1962 808, except it has a full cabin enclosure instead of canvas in front of the upper windshield and it has V Bunks.

That boat is very cool!I put 3 on the original post.
The rigging is two down riggers and six rod holders, the engine is a 1975 Mercury 850.The rigging on the stern is pretty wild and looks to be pretty good shape. What can you tell us about that and the engine?
They weren't on there when I first posted it, I added them through the edit.Odd, the pictures did not load when I first viewed this topic.
Looks like this is powered with an early 70’s mercury outboard. Those down riggers are giant. Was this boat used for fishing on a lake?
Thanks, I saw that.I found this thread from 2010 on the 1962 SeaRays.
And another thread.
In my absence...

I saw these pictures in the 1962 SR brochure. Has anyone ever seen one of these? I wonder if one even still exists? What a Boat! The 1962 808 Cruis-a-Boutclubsearay.com
Sea Ray doesn't have anything on boats older than 1987. What I would like are sales brochures that show model numbers and pictures, I want to put it back to original, or as close as possible. I don't need instruction on how to do the work, been doing that for 65 years. What kind of info are you looking for? You can find old brochures on Sea Ray's website - and sometimes you can look to other, close by, model years as well.
But there really won't be anything in any printed Sea Ray manuals that are going to help you with your project. Repairing rotten wood, redoing electrical, trailer work, engine work, etc, etc - all of that is something that you do on your own - although there's plenty of info and how-to books out there on that stuff. And that info would apply to any boat.
Gotcha.Sea Ray doesn't have anything on boats older than 1987. What I would like are sales brochures that show model numbers and pictures, I want to put it back to original, or as close as possible. I don't need instruction on how to do the work, been doing that for 65 years.
