1990 DA 220 Fridge Problem

I have a 1990 Sundancer 220 DA and it seems that the fridge is not working. I have the switch on the dash on but the fridge does not work. I have not tried shore power yet because I do not have a place to try it out. Any thoughts? I have the outlet and fridge breaker on but still nothing...

The breaker isnt going to help you unless you are plugged in (shore power). So if the switch/thermostat inside the unit is set right, you'll then need to verify you are getting power it.

Are your batteries drained? Can you hear it running, just not getting cold? Is it the original unit? If so its pushing 20 years old.

It is the original unit and it is not even running. There is no power in the outlets either and the batteries are fully charged.

It is the original unit and it is not even running. There is no power in the outlets either and the batteries are fully charged.

Are you looking for power at your electrical outlet? If so - your batteries do not provide power to those. You will need to be connected to shore power (or could be a generator or inverter) in order to have AC present in those outlets. Is your fridge a dual power unit - as in can it run on both DC and AC?

Wow, now I feel really stupid, I found "The Switch" inside the fridge that was turned off. I will try it out tomorrow because I am sure that was the problem. Thanks for the help!!

Fridge is on and is getting cold. Even though it is 29 years old it still works great!
