Hello all! Anyone have any info regarding the extent of the “false floor” in the bilge of a 2003 BR 200? Does the tub insert (hollow area) extend all the way to the transom wall or does it get bonded with the hull before the transom? I notice that midway through the bilge it transitions from smooth gel coat (the tub insert) to the lumpier fiberglass that then extends to the transom. I’m wondering if there’s a void under the lumpier section of the bilge. Hope that makes sense. I have a through hull transducer (factory I presume) aft where the bilge floor is lumpy, and want to know whether a leak around that transducer would lead to water in the cavity between the hull and tub floor.

The lumpier section is the "actual/real" hull. The cockpit and what you're referring to as the "tub" are bonded directly with the hull. In other words, the lumpier section is solid fiberglass.

Thank you very much for your reply!

In this pic I now understand where it transitions form the cockpit to actual/real fiberglass hull
