We are trying to develop a remote monitor for the boat which would broadcast onboard data to home. We have an electronics box with digital and analog I/o as well as J1939. Can we tap into the on board systems monitor data? Is it j1939 format or something else? Also, I beleive the cummins engine data comes out as a proprietary smartcraft format. Is there any way to read engine data outside the smartcraft system?
