My dad got a 2007 240 Sundeck that he keeps about 90 miles away. We can't figure out how to get the trim tabs to work. Is there a main breaker to turn them on or something? Or could it be a fuse, and if so where would the fuse be located?
Thanks or any help.

When you use the switches do you hear the pump running for them?

Nothing happens at all - pumps do not run. It's just dawned on me though - does the ACCY switch need to be on? Never had anything like this B-4 and just got the boat. Incidentally, where is the fuse panel located that is described in the operating manual???? I sure can't find it as described in the manual.

4. ACCESSORY FUSE BLOCK

An accessory fuse block holds fuses for equipment

that is not operated by the electronic switch panel.

The fuse block is located inside the control station.

To access the fuse block remove the upper panel

behind the control station in the berth.

FUSE NAME FUSE AMPERAGE 12VDC

3. NAVIGATION LIGHTS 10
5. WINDSHIELD WIPER 5
7. WATER PUMP 10

9. TRIM TABS 20

Thanks for the pic Morpheus - guess I missed it when I was under the control station. Picture shows exactly where it is. Thanks again guys. I'll try again tomorrow when it quits raining.

You have to remove the panel to get to it.

FYI TSR2112,

If you push the "up" on one switch and the "down" on the other switch at the same time, you will blow the fuse. The pump can only run in one direction at a time. Pushing "up" & "down" at the same time confuses the pump.:smt101

There is a little gizmo that can be installed to prevent that. But as long as you know what not to do, save your money.

You have to remove the panel to get to it.

Bring a portable drill with a philips head bit. The screws are tapped directly through the glass and are a biatch to undo by hand. Even more unpleasant on a 95 degree day when you are sitting dead in the water:smt089.
