270DA converter ?

When connected to the shore line and the batter switch off I no longer get power to the 12 volt systems on my boat. I thought the converter would allow me to run lights, radio and frig. any suggestions on what might be the problem. The circuit breaker is on. Where is the converter located on the boat, any ideas? Thanks for the help

The converter on your panel is the battery charger you need to turn your battery switch to on for your 12 volt system to work. The charger will keep the batteries charged while on shore power.

The converter/charger is typically located in the bilge, on the firewall, close to the batteries.
