I just bought a slightly used 2006 dinghy with a 4 stroke 8 hp mercury. The problem is that it wont idle without the choke on without stalling. When you give it gas its fine. I adjusted the idle screw on the carbeurator to make it stay running while in neutral but now the idle is to high. I changed plugs-still no help. Any ideas appreciated.
