Yes, you can use "stock" 12 x 12 tabs and add the drop fins.

Cool, thanks! And taking them off...just the two bolts on the hinge and does it slide out of the transom mount?

The Tab is designed not to slide out. So you need to unscrew the mounting plates on the transom and remove them from the boat to take them off.
