A what happens when... question

what happens when i crank my boat without letting the fuel injector/pump prime and letting the alarm go off. i have always (99% of time) cranked my boat after i hear the fuel prime and alarms go off, but last time i cranked it immediately and it choked out and thats when i assumed i got vapor lock. Could that be a cause and effect (not cranking)

If the engine now does not crank its not vapor locked. Check your starter and solenoid. Also if your engine has a reset breaker check it. Sounds like a starter system problem to me.
