Hi Everyone,
I have a 1998 310 Sundancer with a bum starboard windshield wiper motor. Before I do something I will regret, I'd like for someone to tell me how to get to the motor. Do I go up from inside the cabin through the overhead (headliner in automobile-speak) or is it possible to get to it by removing the panel with the gauges on it from above? The overhead seems really tight with no visible fasteners and I don't want to force it. Help!!!

Jerry, Don't do anything you will regret, as you said.
If no one jumps in with the answer, contact Sea Ray. They will tell you how to do it. They sent me the photos and the step by step below for my 360. E-mail them under contact sea ray on the web site.

If you find out that yours are the same, here's what I have.
Good luck

HOLY MOLYS YOU DID THIS JOB????? IF SO ?

Nope, and let's hope I don't have to.
It was a long winter last year (just like this year) and I was bored, I was trying to find out as much as I could about my new boat, and I had not had a boat with windshield washers before, so I asked sea ray about the location, and how to get to the washer pump. they sent me pics of the pump, location, and instructions on how to get to it, and being the helpful gent that Jason Brennen is, he threw in the skinny on the wiper motors too

Thanks Gentlemen!
I didn't expect to hear anything this fast! I will take your advice 3sons, and contact Sea Ray directly. The '98 310 is not similar to what is shown in the pics although I did try to go up through the overhead light fixture but no luck there.

Thanks again,
Jerry
