I have an ACR Remote Spotlight (RCL-100D) that will occasionally respond just plain wrong. If I press left, it will go up, press down the light will turn off.......Right it will turn it back on back on. :smt101

I'm pretty sure it is wired correctly from the control box to the light. It normally works, only occasionally will it flake out.

The only connection between the Point Pad and Master Controller is a Coax cable. I plan on replacing the ends, possibly the cable itself....but beyond that, I'm not sure how I can diagnose further. Any similar problems?

Below is what my point pad (URP-101) looks like (for reference).

Great link, thank you.

I called ACR yesterday (tech support seems to be very good BTW). A very common problem with this symptom is the RG59 cable. If it has a poor connection, this can happen. I'll look at that, along with the slip rings for good measure.
