Looking to purchase an 83 weekender with twin 454's and was curious to see how much positive or negative difference from the 351's

I have a friend who has a marina that has a early 80's 30 weekender for sale for what I think is low $$$$. Anybody interested I can post a #. 454's V drives no trailer. Located in no. mich. freshwater...

Previous boat was 1989 300 Weekender with T 454's....
Top speed was around 50 mph if you wanted to spend the $$$. Engine room very tight with those big twins parked in there. I did have flow scans and could dial it in to about 1.2 miles per gallon. You'll be paying year around for mooring or storage with 300 or bigger, the beam is 11' and in Washington State you need a special permit to trailer.....

But as I like to say "I'd rather be overpowered and under utilized then under powered and over ultilized....

Good Luck, Mark
