Batteries completely discharged

I must of left something on which ran both batteries stone dead. I am in the process of charging them back up, but they are having trouble getting over 85%. Since they were totally discharged, are they junk? The #1 battery is a 1.5 yr old starting battery, and #2 is an approx. 3 yr old deep cell.

Charlie, sorry to hear that. You may get them charged up enough to get them to work, but you may be nervous all summer long wondering what their new capacities will be.

The Deep cycle may rebound better than the starting one.
