I'm installing a new cockpit fridge in my 97 330 dancer and the 12v boat power is dead to the switch under the port seat. I can't find a fuse or CB. Helppppp

It might be wired to the same 12 v breaker on the panel in the salon. I think it says "Refig/Ice maker". Some models had an ice maker where your cockpit fridge is.

I'm assuming you checked the fuse panel that faces down on the lower part of the helm?

Next idea might be the electical panel in the bilge. I had all kinds of problems finding the fuse for the salon sump pump. Turns out it has an inline fuse INSIDE that black box in the bilge.

Good Luck!

Thx. Tried all so far. I have the wires traced to the bilge, but can't find where they go once inside there. I'm hoping someone else has had this problem and knows exactly where to go

On Just Ducky, the 12 VDC circuit for the cockpit refrigerator sources in the breaker box mounted in the engine room. Unfortunately, there's not a breaker, there's an in-line fuse mounted inside the box. Remove the four phillips screws and the fuse is in there. You might want to change it out for a push to reset breaker that's ignition protected.

Best regards,
Frank

Frank,

I owe you a cocktail. I tracked it to within a foot of that, but never would have guessed that is where they hid it. I'll go back and fix it tomorrow.

Cheers,

George

We must have two different boxes. Mine had 6 screws and no inline fuse. I'm about ready to run a new service to it! Anyone else ever replace this fuse?

I did replace the fuse and mine was in that breaker box. It must be around there somewhere since that's where all the 12VDC source connections are made.

This is soooo frustrating. I've spent hours tracing it down and nothing. I've looked in the bilge breaker box, all around it, the main panel, the switch area, the cockpit breaker area...nothing. It's not shown on the schematic and I'm to the point of running a new power source, but not sure where the best place is to take it from. I'll call Searay tomorrow and see if they have some advice. Please keep it coming. Someone must know exactly where this fuse is. George

I got a question. Does the line have power at that box? If so fuse is further down line, if not then you need to keep tracking up line.

I am sure you checked this , there is a switch at the bottom of the passenger seat, my boat has a switch for cockpit fridge 12v there

The leads to the switch are dead. I cant tell which way the wires go without tearing the conduit apart as it enters the main bundle

When it rains it pours! Now the depth finder seems to have a fuse problem and I cant find it either. Checked the panel and under the gauge and in the schematic Nothing. Who can help on this one?
