Pump is a take off from my personal yacht running 6CTA-M3 Cummins. One pump started leaking at the machine side bearing, so I bought two new pumps and had the old housings rebuilt with the latest parts as for use as spares. Pumps were re-manufactured to factory specs, but and this is a big BUT, with the latest design of shaft bearings and seals. The bearings were machine pressed to the new shafts at factory specs. The major rebuild kit used (as shown) included everything including new cam, and I must emphasize the parts are the new designs which have corrected historical issues with this series pump.
The new impeller is installed and the pump is ready for drop in installation. Well almost drop in, you'll need to remove the anti corrosion coating on the drive gear surfaces with a little paint thinner. The new rebuild kits upgrade this pump to latest design. Only elbow O-Ring gaskets are included.
This pump has a new retail price of over $1,200.00! A Carcass sells for over $200.00. Buy one of these pumps for a fraction.
The pumps were bench rebuilt by Southern Pump and Armature in Ft. Lauderdale.
