I accidentally left the refrigerator DC switch on at the helm for a couple days. The AC switch was also on in the cabin. This morning I went down to the boat to find my brand new Optima blue tops were run down to 8 volts. Are they fried or do you think they'll come back to life with an overnight charge?
I also noticed the fan in the battery charger (Fastback 20-3) did not turn on. However, the red light was on indicating it was in fast charge mode. Anyone know where the DC fuse is located for the charger?

I don't think you fried them, but I wouldn't make a habit of it. For others out there, I put the Optima deep discharge batteries in my boat. I don't feel like I needed the cold cranking amps that the others provide, and I wanted to protect against situations like this.

there is two internal fuses inside charger, they're "not user replaceable" and you need to take unit apart. Remember to UNPLUG your boat.

I replaced my Flyback 20-3 with a newer "ProNautic 1240i" I gave ProMariner my serial # from the Flyback and the sold me the Charger of my choice for 50% off list.
Here's my old thread on it

Great info. Thanks! If it comes to that I'll call Promariner.
I downloaded the manual and it says the fuse is an automotive type located on the circuit board. I'll check that out first as well as try the reset procedure. Chances are the charger is not dead yet.
From now on I think I'll get in the habit of turning the battery switch to OFF when I leave the boat.

An overnight charge did nothing. The reset procedure didn't work so I pulled it apart . I found two automotive fuses that were intact so the charger was just dead. I didn't want to wait so I picked up a 1220i at West Marine. Batteries are back to life but it seems this caused other problems. I started a new thread here if anyone's interested.

Call ProMariner. Keep the receipt from WM and see if they'll offer you a refund or something.

Not sure about your other issue, but have you checked the main breaker?
