I'm planning to buy a (diesel operated) air heating system to my 240 Sundancer (2004). It just seems that the noise isolation in the engine room blocks all clean areas for pipes and intalling the heater unit (Wallas, Webasto, Eberspacher, Safire etc). Also, all channels from the engine room to the front seem to be so crowded anyway that it is challenging to find any decent route for the installations.
Is there some place where I can find pictures or drawings where to place the air pipes and where to locate the ends of the pipes? I want one outcome inside and one outside. Also it would be nice to see where others have placed the control panel and thermostat. All advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Where will you install this? I didn't think they were, but are they approved for use in a gasoline engine bilge?

The boat had AC/Heat as an option and the original schematically layout will be in your manual. But for your boat, the unit was likely located behind the false, starboard wall in the midcabin (possibly under the starboard v-berth, but I think the false wall). The control panel location is in the manual, too - I believe on the outside of the forward head wall.
