This message is intended for guys who have solved the Eisenglass storage issue on sport boats but if you "big boat" guys have a suggestions I am willing to listen.

I just got the front visor and side curtains for my 220 Bowrider. I did not get the aft curtain. I got the front and side for those time when I get caught out in the rain unexpectedly so I want to keep them on the boat. I know we have to roll them up but I'm wondering if anyone has come up with a storage idea to keep them clean and damage free?

Can you lay them flat in the bow on the seats? Maybe build a center section like a buddy so that it becomes a flat area (if yours doesn't have one already). Lay sheets between each layer.

they need to be out the way so I can use the boat!

I read your question and felt it could be taken two ways... you mentioned 'storage'. I wasn't sure if you meant storage while using the boat, or storage when the boat is docked/trailered.

Now that you clarified, that's a tough one. Either rolling them up on the bimini, or rolling them in cotton bags made to the size of your panels would work. Since you only have a few panels, you may have to live with the fact that this isn't the best way to store them. Another upside is that there won't be a large cost associated with replacement when the time comes for just a few panels.

When I had my cuddy cabin, I purchased a big canvas bag at an army/navy surplus store. I was able to roll them up with bed sheets in between the glass and store them on the boat that way.

Mine came with a bag, roll them up clean with cloth in between, I read that someone uses a pool noodle in the middle.
With only a few pieces it shouldn't take up to much space.

I roll mine up with sheets between each one and store them in the bag that they came in. On the 240 Sundeck there is a great spot for them under the port side seat.

-- Clean them while they're still up.
-- If you didn't get a storage bag with them, make one.
-- Like others have said, sheets in between.
-- Pool noodle or PVC drain pipe.

It's only going to be about as long as the widest window (depending on how you roll it). Maybe 3' or 4'?

You might find it can be stored in one of the side storage compartments.

using the floating noodle sounds like a good idea. I'm thinking roll them on the noodle with sheets in between and possibly attaching underneath the rear sunpad on the starboard side. Do you think it gets too hot under there? I guess I could put under the front cushions.

I'm I the only one with some Eisenglass?

I've used carpet roll tubing in the past for rolling the glass and storing. It comes in 12' lengths or more and carpet stores would probably give them to you. I taped the cut ends so the cardboard wouldn't unravel.
