Have you considered adding an extended swim platform?
They look great, they add room, they add a social area, they add to the value of the boat and they keep the kids (young and young at heart) safe when jumping in the water off the stern because the drive is covered.

I drive the Admiral crazy becuase I am always wiping the tub down with a damp towel or soaking up the water after a rain. I won't let her board the tub unless she takes her street shoes off.
