So I got a new radio installed, Works great at the house.. But when I got on the water this past sunday I could only pick up 1 station.. Anyone got any suggestions for boosting the Antenna. I would rather not mount an antenna on such a small boat. But I am not opposed to it..

Try to use regular size car antennas mounted horizontally behind one of the bolsters. If you have vhf radio installed on the boat you could use vhf/fm splitter to use vhf ant. for fm reception.

What did you use for an antenna? There is an adaptor that you can get at West Marine that will go from the antenna input on your radio to one of the studs where the bow rail attaches to the boat. You bolt the wire to the stud from underneath where it cannot be seen. That turns your rail into the antenna.

Install an amplified antenna. They are VERY easy to install, three wires to hook up; your standard antenna connector, a ground wire and a switched hot wire. I believe they have either 3 or 6db of gain and the antennas are conceleable; you can stick it just about anywhere you want. It resembles a typical dipole antenna. Any car stereo shop will have one.
