Have a 1988 Sea Ray EC. I need to keep some frozen baitfish froze. My freezer doesn't seem to be able to do this. I only put in 4 or 5 small flat packages so there is still lots of room. The freezer on this boat does not have a door and I'm not sure if it should or not. I have defrosted it and it seems to be the same. I have tried to put crumpled news paper in to take up the remaining space but this had a negative effect, and the freezer actually seemed less effective. The fridge is ice cold so no problems there, but I do know the door does not seal as well as it should (age). Did this freezer originally have a door? Any suggestions on what I can do to improve this? Thanks.
