Full size mattress in mid-stateroom

Because my children getting bigger, I placed a custom made mattress in the mid stateroom.
I also made some extra space, by putting a self made board on the side.

Size is now 82 inch X 62 inch.

Hello Jeff,

The mattress is made from memory foam.
It's a huge difference to sleep on this, instead of the normal situation.
They have more space now, and the comfort is super!.
It's like home now. ( Only they sleep together )

This is awesome! I was just thinking (lamenting actually) how I could never really see my family using the mid-cabin space for lounging when we have all of the incredible space topside - I would love to do this conversion.

Does anybody here really use their mid-cabin seating all that much? Just curious...

We have ours made into a bed and use it for sleeping. We have a 4" piece of memory foam on it....not near as nice as Peter's mattress, but it works.
