When you slide open the locker above the galley, the door wraps around a cylinder within the locker. It is jammed and will only open about two inches. I have tried a snake etc with no succes. Any ideas?

Those are called Tambour doors. Odds are that something got jammed in the track that they wind up into or something got jammed into the door itself as it winds up.

Recently someone (sorry, don't recall the name) did a nice post on removing and replacing them. You might get lucky with using the search tool.

Unless there are other things that can be removed to access the area (doubtful), you may be stuck with having to carefully remove (cut with a razor blade) a few of the vertical pieces. Just enough to allow you better access. The doors are usually a little long - so you might have some extra to play with - you'll just need to re-install the finger hole. If it turns out the doors aren't long enough, you can reattach the pieces you removed to the back end.

Try to find that thread - it had some very good info in it.

Worst case scenario: You can buy new tambour material w/o having to go through Sea Ray.

I had the same thing happen to me. By using an extendible mirror (looks like a large dentist's mirror) I was able to locate what was jamming the door, then used a bent coat hanger to unjam it.

After clearing the problem I made a cover out of sheet styrene, which snapped into the track and kept the problem from recurring. I used a styrene "For Sale" sign from the hardware store, cut it to the proper height, and then cut it to fit into the outer edge of the track.

Sorry, the boat is still shrink-wrapped so I can't get any photos. Hope my explanation is clear.

That's a very clever idea!
