Thanks guys the weird thing is with the racor attached it ran for 4-6 hours when I removed the racor I only get 10 mins
generator still only runs for 4 hours!,,

I spoke with my buddy, he said a generator guy bled the fuel system from the keypad on the generator. No parts necessary. Maybe he changed some setting on keypad also not sure about that.
UPDATE: was getting a 3/2 fault code which could be either low cranking power or pow oil pressure
I installed a new battery a week ago so it wasn’t that.
I took a shot in the dark and replaced the oil sending unit thinking it may be sending a false reading and sure enough that was it
Generator ran all weekend I think I was chasing a fuel problem that didn’t exist when it shut down I’d top off the racor but that probably gave the sending unit time to “reset”
How does this theory sound? Do sending units just fail? Or can they fail over time?
