HELP - wire order for trim-flap-switches

Hi,

I desperatly need the wire order for the trim flap switches. I disconnected the wires, and now I can not remember the order. Very very stupid of me!

It is for a 2006 240

I *think* they're Bennett tabs. You might have an owner's manual for the tabs in your owner's pack. Otherwise, maybe you can find it on Bennett's website?

Hint: In the future, use a digital camera.

Hmm. No help in the manual, and no help at Bennetts website - so if anyone could take a peek behind the instrument panel, and look for the order/color of the wires it would be deeply appreciated!

Try this - found it on Bennett's site - page towards the bottom.

Worst case, hook 'em and experiment. The worst that can happen is you blow a fuse.

Thanks a lot. The trim tab switches on the boat are different from those on Bennetts page - and have more wires

But I will give it a try today!

As you start experimenting, don't forget that the switch on the right controls the port-side tab. It's up to you how you want to hook them up when it comes to up/down. Just remember that when the tab goes down, the bow goes down. I think you'll figure it out pretty quickly. Hopefully the up/down and port/starboard colors will match-up with what you have - I think that part is standard from Bennett... assuming you have the Bennett tabs.
