How do you prime a Reverso Oil pump

If one needs to do this how do you prime it, it is a Reverso GP 3020 series?

They are supposed to be self priming. If it doesn't prime, I would start the pump, then crack the line just after the pump until the pumping starts. You may also have a leak on the inlet side of the pump. Make sure the fittings are tight.

I remember that first time I needed to pour a small amount of oil down the fill/removal hose into the pump body to prime the impeller. After that it's supposed to be self-priming.
