HS Graduation rates

NJ is looking good!

Look at Navada. Almost half do not graduate. What a shame.

The only reason the graduation rate is so high in Wisconsin is there is absolutely nothing else to do during the non-boating season and the boating season is when school is out.

I wonder what the differences are between these reporting methods are and how significant the real difference is?

Northern Virginia spends ON AVERAGE for Fairfax County $13,500 per student per year. Doesn't seem like money is fixing the problem.

I don't even need to look at Alabama.

In this state we build multi million dollar "schools" where the inner city kids play football on state of the art turf. Yeah the turf cost a gazillion dollars but "you folks have to remember, its almost maintenance free!" The press box, hell the whole facility, looks like a mini version of the nicest college stadium you can imagine. The games are telivised by local stations and the college football coach they aspire to play for has a base salary of 4 million a year.

So remind me again why we built that huge 2 story, marble floored building on the other side of campus? Oh yeah, the classrooms.

NJ is looking good!

85% is good?

I guess compared to the rest of the lot. But geez.
I am shocked how low those rates are.

Shows my middle class North East bias I guess.. .
. . . . I thought HS graduation was a given for nearly everyone.

The nothern Great Plains and upper Midwest have the highest gradution numbers. My theory is that the kids stay in school because it is too cold outside to drop out .
