Anyone out there have anything on the performance specs for a 400DB with 8.1's. I am a new owner and interested in what my burn rates are.

I had a 2003 400db with gassers, flat out 25knots 256 litres per hour 8knots around 40 litres. If you are doing only short distances not a problem but Like me I wanted to go further and the calculated cost was going to kill me. I now have a diesel boat and can roar to my destination .

I live in Sydney and boat at a place called Pittwater which is 20 nm north of Sydney harbour and 80 nm south of Port Stephens Fuel here is around $1.50AUD per litre

Cruise speed - average.

Gas mileage - .4 or .5 mpg.

256 litres per hour = 67 gallons per hour
40 litres per hour = 10.5 gallons per hour
