I love Boating

I, too, love boating. And I love all aspects of boating. I love cruising, I love socializing at the marinas, the freedom, I love working on the boat. I love it all.

We aren't boating this weekend because the admiral is sick and its killing us both.

Oh yeah....we got it bad.

Great pics, wetpaint. I do love boating too. Growing up all I wanted was to overnight on our 22' cuddy cabin with my dad. God rest his soul I never got to do that. But have with my son and daughters... As my wife says I have them brainwashed especially my son. It's got to be genetics for sure, Yachting sends me magazines and of course my son is looking at them all the time. Heck he brought one to the pool to read while we were at the Hyatt in Cambridge,MD...

That's why I love boating!!!

I'm with you all on loving boating. Some of my favorite boating pics...

Yup, I love boating. So does my Galley Wench!!! Could life get any better than this???

Large size Magma with the flame spreaders. Works great. I have it on the new boat and this is the third boat it's been on. Gets a TON of use, cleans up nicely with oven cleaner, and just keeps on ticking.

Magma came out with a new gas regulator a few years back that works much better if there's any wind. The new style is blue/red. If you're using the old style give 'em a call and they can send you one of the newer ones.

On the new boat I have it semi-permanently mounted on the port walkway in the cockpit. I use a bungee to keep the lid in place when we're running and it seems OK there. It's in a location that's easy to access yet out of the way.

What happens when I feel the way you guys do about boating but the family is loosing interest? i cant get enough of it every aspect but they could sell the boat tomorrow and not care, the kids almost hate it if they cant bring a friend along and the wife is bored of it. very frustrating!!!!:smt021

thats why I got divorced.....you could always buy a bigger boat which she might like........If sex is not that important 2-3 times a year, keep the boat

Honestly...sell the boat. I love boating but my wife and kids are more important. Spend time with your family doing the things that they enjoy and it will be more rewarding than boating. Maybe get a small boat so you can still get out on the water and do something that the kids will think is fun...like skiing and tubing.

It's not a bad thing to have interests change -- whether it's yours, your wifes or your kids.

Let me keep your boat until you decide.:grin:

I lose my first mate (son) to school this week and the Admiral can't wait to get back to the water. Weekends will be all we have until winter sets in.

We love it. First mate loves to go fast, Admiral loves to cruise. It's a good conflict to have.:lol:
