I am trying to figure out the battery switches in this boat i just got. The one by the house batteries is just a on/off, the one in front of the fuel tank is just an on/off, the next is on the starboard side and is a 1/all/2 switch and that one controls the house batteries. I just want to know how you do your switches. The owners manual is clear as mud and i cant find a wiring harness diagram anywhere. Help would be greatly appreciated.

This sounds like conflicting information.

Is it correct that you have three switches? Switch A is on/off, switch B is on/off, and switch C is 1/all/2/off?
How many batteries do you have?

This will help folks answer better, especially since the same year/model sometimes were customized at time of sale or by subsequent owners. A lot can happen in 24 years!

It's time well spent to map your setup, even if someone else does have a suggestion that gets you on the right path.

Good luck in your discovery!!!

Standing on the swim step facing forward the first switch is on the left just a on /off straight ahead to the left of center is a on/off to the right of that one is a 1/all/2 switch. The house batteries are in the 1/all/2 switch. The far left switch is a break in the heart inverter line to the house batteries. Does this set up ring any bells with any old 1992 searay 290 sundancer person. Just need someone to tell what to do with these switches besides turn them on and dont turn them off till you shut off the motor. I have two six volts for the house batteries and two 12 volt batteries one for each 4.3 v6 engine. Thanks
