I have picked up the dreaded cycling pump syndrome. I've checked the obvious spots and nothing seems to be running or dripping. The only thing I've noticed is inside the icemaker I'm getting large chunks of frozen water down the back wall and some in the bucket. Could there be a bad valve in there that fills the tray that is slowly leaking and causing this ice buildup on the back. This is solid ice and not freezer frost. Is it possible for this valve to ice and not completely shut?
I'll have to check all the hidden compartments for standing water. Bilge is bone dry. Pump might cycle once every 20 mins? Before I could leave the boat for a week with ZERO leakdown! Made me feel good everything was still tight! This is bugging me!

YEP! Happened to me a few months ago. The valve is easy to get to and replace, and didn't even cost much.

The trickier part was capping off the hose-fitting supply line until the part came in. I kept using shut-off valves that leaked more than the icemaker valve did.

are you still using the orginal water heater? Mine went 2 years ago. The insulation can absorb some of the leak, so you might not see water in the bilge.

Yes original water heater. I have seen water at the base of the housing in the past but it's been dry last couple times in the bilge. BUT I haven't been at the boat with a pressurized system for days that would accumulate enough water to start running. But unwound think that how often the water pump cycles I would see a leak after a couple hours. Worth looking into though due to it's age. I know that's on borrowed time. I'll also look into getting a new icemaker valve.
