I rented a house in the California Delta for the next 3 weeks. The house is on the waterfront with it's own U dock.

If I keep my boat in the slip for 3 weeks will the hull get stained? Could there be any other issues with doing this?

Thank You!

Yes it will stain, but you can clean it will hull cleaner and then polish and wax it after you clean it. The hull cleaner is an acid, so do your best to keep it off your trailer and stainless. If you get it on there rinse it immediately.

I agree. Use muratic acid from the hardware store to clean it if you want, it will save a couple bucks over hull cleaner.

You can get this at home improvement stores (Menard's) and it is much cheaper than hull cleaners, easier to find than acid and works as good or better than anything I have used.

I use a wheel cleaner like Turtle Wax. I cut it with water 50/50 and it works.
If you are in Discovery Bay welcome to the neighborhood.

How tough of a job is this? Easy wipe on/off? Or 1-2 hours heavy job?

Yep, I will be in Discovery Bay. What a great place!

Wipe it on with a sponge, rinse off. Hardest part is how fussy you are and if you are motivated to crawl underneath hull while it is on trailer.
