Has anyone installed a Vacuflush (head system) on a 1988 270 DA (or similar)? We are trying to figure out where the holding tank can go.

Thanks for any feedback!

On my 99 270...there was only 1 holding tank for both the head and gray water. No reason you couldn't do the same.

The main thing, obviously, to worry about would be weight distribution. You've got a 10' beam, so it's not quite as important as someone with a narrower boat - meaning you'll have more options. But, still something to consider - depending on the tank size you choose. Easy access in another consideration. You might find you'll be moving batteries or your fresh water tank - depending on where they are. Maybe try moving some dead weight around to different spots in the bilge to approximate what the weight of the tank you choose will do. You've got tabs to take care of anything while on plane, so I would only be worried about making sure it sits level while anchored/in a slip.
