iPod Connection to Clarion XMD3-2004 240 Select

I have read the threads about this, and I am still confused...doesn't really take much:smt021

I am wanting to connect an iPod to the radio using the RCA inputs in the back of the radio. Does anyone know what connector cables I need for this, I would like to use the docking slot (not the headphone jack) for this connection. Also, is there a way to charge the iPod while it is playing through the slot?
