Just installed JABSCO BOAT SPOT LIGHT WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROL and although it was not plug and play it was easy to do. I highly recommed it. I don't understand why searay insistes on installing thew spot light remote on the starboard side. The pilot is the only one that can use it and usally I have a enough to do especically at night. Now with the wireless remote the first mate can help. For around $100 this is a must have modification for safty and convinence. Oh and by the way it works up to a 100' away from the boat so the cool factor of remote control is also great espically when docked.

Dito......
I also put one of these in.
It is cool to have it in your pocket at the pier and turn your spotlight on somebody.

AAAhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaa.......

Don't see the advantage, but then I rarely use the spotlight. A well-tuned radar works better at night, and doesn't blind other boaters.

Best regards,
Frank

Nor do kayaks.

It would be fun to point it into your cockpit and wait for some guests to get freaky or something while you're out on a walk. Then, turn it on them and they'll think they did it or something. Bring a camera.

Logs don't show up either on radar. I find that running with the spot light shining only about 20 - 30 feet in front of the boat helps tremendously while trying to avoid debris in the water.
