I've got a mystery on my hands and would love some suggestions:
Changed oil and oil filter along with spark plugs during off season and took her out this weekend. (Has 249 total hours)
Genny ran great while I tested her out of water for 10 minutes with hose in strainer for cooling. Plenty of cool water discharging so impeller is good.
Took her out on the lake and she ran great for 5 minutes with frig and battery charger as a load then suddenly stopped with only UU (Undervoltage) as fault. Wouldn't start again the rest of the weekend - just cranks but doesn't try to fire. Plugs are clean and dry as a bone. Tried the fuel purge routine to manually run in some extra gas prior to cranking (no suitable fuel hose onboard so didn't actually bleed or verify fuel was being pumped but heard the pump working)
Could either the onboard Kohler fuel filter or the Mercruiser unit ahead of it be completely blocked? The fuel was sitting for about 6 months but there's very little mosture in Las Vegas. (Also had alot of Marine Stabil in it)
Anyone have this problem before? I'm leaning towards the fuel filters but the manual says they should last 500 hours?
