I am looking at making an offer on a 2000 270 Sundancer with average hours, gen, very good condition, twin 4.3's. Prices seem scattered at best when looking at listings since there do not seem to be a lot of 270's listed. What is a good starting point for this boat?

I paid 43K for mine but it did not include the trailer (I also did not have to transport it anywhere since it was on Fort Loudon). I also bought mine over 2 years ago so it was "newer" when I bought it and just before the economy tanked (or at least at the beginning of it tanking).

Sharp looking boats, thanks for the input, helps ground my offer in reality. I am a little nervous about pulling the trigger and especially about getting a money pit.

Thanks.

I think you should be able to get one for much less than low 40's now. I have seen them listed in the low 30's, but you never know about condition. Mine had low hours, well maintained, and no real issues when I bought it.

I'm actually looking at two right now both with trailers one is starting at $42,000 and the other is at $33,900 both with twins...
