A few months back Boating Magazine, I think, had a product advertised that saved your anchor in case of hang up.

I thought it was Anchor Saver, but I went to their site and it's not the one.

Anyone familiar with I'm looking for. I do remember it was like $100 and it came with 3 pins.

I asked about this anchor saver thing awhile back. Below is the thread to that conversation. Just note the link in that thread is no longer a good link so here is the new link to the Anchor Saver site.

Bottom line is there were enough good reasons not to use the anchor saver. Thanks to John (LoneRanger) and his meniton of the trip line I opted to use this method. I've not used it yet, but I do like the idea and have my line and float all set ready to go. There is a good link to the trip line info in John's response.
