I would say that that deal is to good to be true. The seller is either a moron or a crackhead.I bought my '81 sundancer at a great price, but not that good.:smt024

I think that is a fare price you figure the 90 ford at the most unless it is super clean is around $1000 to $2000 and the boat is an 81. If the guy is hurting it? I say go for it all it is going to cost you is a tank or 2 of gas and time it's part of the hunt. I went 250 mi to get mine and got it for a little more than you are paying. I went to Racine Wis to look at one the pictures on craigs list looked great but when I got there the wife looked at it and said no way it looked like he hit every peir in Lake Michigan and the interior was trashed, he wanted $3500 for a 23'da.
Here is a SF Bay craigs listing for Sea Ray's. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/search/boa?query=sea+ray&catAbbreviation=boa&minAsk=min&maxAsk=max
Just keep checking every day a couple times a day if you don't take the one you are looking at but the Bay area looks expensive.
