I need to rebuild my carburetor but it doesn't have a number tag on it. It's a Rochester 4bbl. Any idea how I can tell which one it is so I can buy a carb rebuild kit? I have my boats serial number, engine serial number, etc. Do you think Sea Ray would have a record?

If you go to your local NAPA, they can get Sierra Marine Parts. (they are labeled NAPA)

I never used numbers to get mine.

You can get the part number yourself right from the Sierra site before you go also.

I've been all over the Sierra site. They don't list anything for my model year. I'm just going to have to make a stab at it I guess.

Thanks!

The Sierra site says my serial number is a 7.4L with a Weber Carb! WRONG WRONG WRONG. Went to NAPA. They made their BEST guess. I'll have the kit in a day or two and then time will tell if it's the right one. What a hassle!

Thanks for you help! REALLY!

send me a pm with your numbers, let me see what I can come up with. (if you don't mind)... :smt001

theres a number on the main body of the carb. I can't remember exactly where its at. ill have to go check later. but all Quadrajunks have them weither their in a car/truck/boat.

EDIT: Its an 8 digit number located in the attached picture. Napa should have the kit as well as any local auto parts store. alot of times there just one universal kit for a couple different carbs.
