I'm Andy and I have just aquired 'Bassanova', a 23ft 1992 220 cuddy cabin with a 5.7 V8 Mercruiser inboard/outboard.
She was purchased in good condition but is undergoing a full renovation (restoration?) starting with new cushions and vinyl in the cabin and on the deck and some serious attention to the faded gel coat. Due to her age she has a small amount of teak, which should'nt present too many hours of labour. I intend to pay some attention to the stainless steel and in some cases replace plastic for stainless steel if it's possible, for example around the cabin windows and the cockpit windscreen, not sure tho?!:smt017
I'm from the Uk and we will be using her mainly around Poole Harbour and the coastal areas of the south coast of England, she will be berthed on a dry stack in Poole.:smt100 I'd love to hear from any of you good people with either good ideas in support of my project or just a freindly word or cautionary advice! I intend to post piccy's so that you can get a feel for what I'm up too.
