New to boating and would like help

Hi i have a 1995 29',and have a tv and dvd that i would like to watch while on the hook.
How do i do this on battery power?
I have a 12v outlet in the gally area near the tv.

get a power inverter hooks to the battiery and has a couple of house hold outlets on it make sure to have a second battery for starting back up
