no radio and mystery switch?

Hi, I'm John and the proud owner of a 2000 28ft sun sport with twin 300 mags. My Problem is that my radio will only work with the port engine ignition on. The boat has the clarion head unit with the remote at the helm and 6 speaker and a sub. Also I have a TV with a glomex antenna set up. There is a swith above the tv that if I Turn it on it Kills the TV and Radio after about 1 min. I have already taken the panal off to check the wireing at the radio but can't find anything wrong
